Cynthia has been a knitter for many years. More recently, she has been working through her Master Spinner certificate through Olds Community College. Handpainting yarns has become a method to integrate spinning and design: adding colour to widen the palette created with natural fibres and using colour to add design elements such as striping and "built in" patterning.
