  Alpine Meadow
Take a walk through an alpine meadow of buttercups, lillies, bluebells and blue spruce. If you can't make it to the mountains this summer, this skein of colour will take you on a journey through summer meadows filled with wildflowers, soft wind, mineral-tinted water and lichens.
  Aspen Forest
Take a drive out of city on a fall day and see the colours of the fall leaves in gold and red contrasting against the silver-blue of the tree trunks. This aspen forest contains the rich gold of leaves and bark, the cranberry red of turning leaves and striking blue of birches and aspen trees. Knit up this colourway and discover the hidden shadows inspired by sun working its way through the forest canopy.
Autumn Inspiration   Autumn Inspiration
While autumn colours signal a change from warm sunny days to cold wintery ones... the colours of fall add warmth and depth to the summer palette. This colourway reminds me of picking up the colourful, discarded autumn leaves and tucking them into a book... only to find them again later in the cold winter months. A cheery and bright reminder of the previous autumn and an acknowledgement that no season lasts very long.
Berry Pie   Berry Pie
Combining all the luscious fruits of the wild: blueberries, mulberries, strawberries, raspberries and saskatoons… this particular batch has been topped off with a scoop of pink (strawberry) ice cream. Make this skein into a pair of socks or mittens and you’ll be protected from the cold winter drafts in a “berry” colourful way!
  Candy Cane (Stripes)
The predominant green and red of this colourway reminded me of candy canes and hard Christmas candy. A creamy natural white separates the colours. Knit the strips horizontally or use a chevron pattern to add a wavy flare. Candy Cane has been dyed in long (5 - 8 foot) segments to create a self-striping yarn.
  Copper & Blue (Stripes)
"Copper & Blue" is a tribute to our hometown hockey team - the Edmonton Oilers. The predominent colourway is a copper-tone orange, a royal blue and a natural creamy white. This yarn stripes up in narrow repeats. Copper & Blue has been dyed in long (5 - 8 foot) segments to create a self-striping yarn.
  Earth, Wind, Fire & Water
A little tribute to the four elements of life on this planet. This colourway brings a unique pattern to sock or mitt construction. Notice how the blue water "pools" and the red and gold fire combine to make a flame-like spiral. A light green "earth" runs through all the other elements.
Emerald Lake   Emerald Lake
Hidden away in the Rocky Mountains, a short drive from Lake Louise in Banff National Park is Emerald Lake. The water in this glacier fed lake is a light green, due to the mineral content. Framed by steel blue and grey mountains, pine trees and more often than not, a clear blue sky, Emerald Lake is a perfect place to retreat from civilization.
  Freezies
A summer time favourite, this colourway is designed for those of us who are young at heart. Whether you like to tip back a giant freezie or slurp up a frozen drink, these colours will certainly cool your extremities (feet or hands!) with their bright representations of tangerine-orange, blueberry and cherry soda.
Mike's Mix   Mike's Mix
For those who like the monochromatic colour schemes and for the knitters who can't abide solid colours (especially black, and especially for socks) here is the chromatic compromise: mostly black with a touch of steely grey-blue. Commissioned by Mike, for Mike. Your "Mike" might like it too.
  My Guy (Stripes)
The forest green, lake blue and the coal coloured black of this skein remind me of long hikes and camping with "my guy". The colourway is rugged and outdoorsy. My Guy has been dyed in long (5 - 8 foot) segments to create a self-striping yarn.
  Naughty & Nice (Stripes)
This is the tomboy colourway... Orange, Pink, Black and a touch of White puts together (for me) the candy sweetness of a little devil. You'll find a striping pattern in this yarn that reminds you of licorice allsorts and tabby cats. Naughty & Nice has been dyed in long (5 - 8 foot) segments to create a self-striping yarn.
Neon Jazz   Neon Jazz
A riff of neon green provides a jazzy compliment to the blues, in this case dark blue and blue-green. This colourway is for those who like the unpredictable, enjoy surprises and unconventional music.
  Poinsetta (Stripes)
Again, inspired by the holiday season and the poinsettas dominating my living space... this colourway includes red, green, white with a hint of yellow and black. Poinsetta has been dyed in long (5 - 8 foot) segments to create a self-striping yarn.
  Sherbet
High in sugar and fat-free, this colourway is designed for those of you who enjoy hot pink, lime green and tangerine orange, have a taste for "tangy" and would rather exercise than diet. While this is not a "striping" yarn, you may find that it has some striping effects when knit up into a sock or mitten.
  Surf 'n Turf
The colours of "Surf n' Turf" are the blues and aquas of the ocean and the deep green of a forest or a lush lawn of grass. Put this skein up to your ear and you just might hear the sound of the ocean.
Wild Berry Blend   Wildberry Blend
A colourful mix of bright colours in both “cool” tones and “warm” tones. Dyed in small (1-2 inch) segments, this colourway is a true mix (no pooling or striping) of bright pixilated colour. You will find yourself immersed in the blend of raspberry, blueberry and strawberry, with bits of watermelon and citrus tossed in. A beautiful blend of berries and fruit! This dye process is designed for those who love the truly random… a chaos of colour.
